ROAD TRIPPIN’

Join Thomas Traversa as the Frenchman goes road trippin’ through Portugal in search of wind and waves

Thomas Traversa (Tabou / Gaastra) enjoyed a superb 2012 as he won his first ever PWA Wave event after defeating Philip Koster (Starboard / NeilPryde / Maui Ultra Fins) in the double elimination during the PWA Cold Hawaii World Cup.

Traversa is renowned for his surfy style on the wave and the Frenchman is equally adept on both starboard and port tack, which makes him one of the most dangerous and highly rated wave sailors in the world.

Over the course of the European winter Traversa has been searching endlessly for wind and waves, which is exactly what he found in Portugal. Join him for almost nine minutes of magnificently shot and edited footage, by Sophia Regerbis, and admire his wave riding ability as he gouges wave-after-wave and throws some sick aerials.
