STARBOARD SEVERNE ALOHA CLASSIC

More prizes up for grabs with the Dunkerbeck Eyewear Best Move and Best Wave competition

With the 2014 Starboard / Severne PWA Aloha Classic just around the corner we are proud to announce two additional prizes this year. Each sailor competing will now have the chance to win an additional $1,000 for both the best wave and best move during the contest thanks to Dunkerbeck Eyewear, who have kindly sponsored the event with two separate, exciting, trophies.

Some words from the man himself - Bjorn Dunkerbeck (Starboard / Severne / Chris Benz / Dunkerbeck Eyewear) - who was the first European rider to ever win the Aloha Classic:"The Maui event has always been a special event and I am happy that Dunkerbeck-eyewear can be part of it. I look forward to seeing all the moves that both the international and the talented local riders will throw during the contest.”

The 2014 Starboard / Severne PWA Aloha Classic will be running from the 29th October until the 11th November. Who do you think will come out on top this year? Will Levi Siver (Quatro / Goya Windsurfing / MFC) be able to defend his crown or will a new name be at the top come the end of the event? Plus, who do you think the prime candidates for the best wave and best move categories are?

Last year’s JP Aloha Classic provided countless hours of spectacular action as the world’s top pros tore Ho’okipa to pieces, be sure to tune into www.pwaworldtour.com from the 29th October to follow, what is sure to be another fantastic event, via the PWA live stream and live ticker.
