Oda Johanne (Starboard / Severne / Maui Ultra Fins) completes the 2016 PWA Women’s Freestyle World Tour in 3rd place — securing her position on the podium for the 3rd consecutive year. 

Johanne faced teammate Maaike Huvermann (Starboard / Severne / Maui Ultra Fins) in the battle for 2nd and 3rd place in both double eliminations and it was Huvermann who managed to gain a narrow victory on each occasion with Johanne landing a flaka outside the competition area in the 2nd double elimination, which could have changed the outcome, but she will now have to wait until next year to try and regain her position in the world’s top 2.
