Pierre Mortefon looks back on his most successful year to date

Pierre Mortefon (Fanatic / North) produced his best performance so far during the 2014 campaign as he claimed the final place on the prestigious podium to complete an all French top three - behind eventual world champion Antoine Albeau (RRD / NeilPryde) and Cyril Moussilmani (Starboard / Severne). However, it wasn’t just on the PWA World Tour that the Frenchman shone as he also finished 2014 as the French Slalom Championship to cap a fine year.

With Björn Dunkerbeck (Starboard / Severne / Chris Benz / Dunkerbeck Eyewear) retiring from the PWA scene at the end of last season, it is now up to someone else to take over the rivalry at the top of the sport and Mortefon looks to have all the assets necessary to do just that. At 25, Mortefon, is still young - especially in slalom terms - and is already sailing years beyond his experience.

After a great year the French champion has just released a new video, recapping some of his top moments of 2014. To see Mortefon’s movie click here.
