Oda Johanne proves she's ready to challenge for top honours after scintillating performance in beautiful Bonaire

Oda Johanne (Starboard / Severne / Maui Ultra Fins) only made her debut on the PWA Freestyle World Tour in 2013, but has made rapid progress - finishing 5th in her first season - before stepping her game up even further in 2014 to be crowned the PWA Freestyle vice-world champion.

The Norwegian beauty spent the majority of the winter in Bonaire and has clearly taken her sailing to the next level again as she rotates through radical konos, stylish shakas and even lands perfect skopus too - to name just a few moves from an impressive repertoire.

Oda Johanne on her latest winter trip:

“I spent 3 months on Bonaire and had wind in two of those months. In between I also flew to Hawaii. The conditions were a lot for 5.2m and 4.8m and some epic days with 4.4m, too! Thinking back at my time there I am happy to land more new moves than planned before the trip. I knew I will have less wind and training in Norway after that trip, so I had to spend my time on the water well!”
