Get Well Soon

We receive the unfortunate news that Andre Paskowski is back in hospital following relapse.

We’re sorry to announce that German freestyler Andre Paskowski (Fanatic / North) is back in hospital after receiving the unfortunate news that he’s been re-diagnosed with cancer.

After a long and winding road for Andre, his future was finally looking positive when he was given the all clear, and began regaining his fitness. Sadly this recent news means he’ll be back in hospital in the next two weeks to start another regime of chemotherapy.

Andre:

“Hi. After a nice Cabo Verde trip my doctors had bad news. Blood and CT indicated something unusual. So, the nightmare starts all again. I had a big stomach operation just 2 weeks ago and recover now to start getting my chemo next week. Shit! I felt good and now this. I am extremely down! I still work on Minds Wide Open. That’s where I invest the little energy I have left to make 6 of the best windsurfers look good! Join in. Andre!”

Here at the PWA we wish Andre the best of luck in recovery and look forward to the day we’ll see him back on the water and ripping. Get well soon.
