KING KOESTER

Will Koester be King of the waves again in 2014?

After his recent move to Severne Philip Koester (Starboard / Severne / Maui Ultra Fins) has just released a brand new video of him sailing on his brand new sails. The two-time PWA Wave World Champion has been training out in Australia but recently returned to Gran Canaria and he wasted little time on getting back out in his familiar waves.

From the looks of things Koester will be giving Marcilio ‘Brawzinho’ Browne (Goya Windsurfing / MFC) a serious run for his money, if the Brazilian wants to hold onto he world champion status. Koester flies through radical air takas and smooth backside wave 360s as well as a couple of gouging rail turns, which send the spray flying.

Koester has also just been voted surfer of the year for the fifth time in Germany.
