PowerBar, the new Fanatic Sponsor

Klaas powers up

Fanatic And PowerBar Join Forces

Fanatic announces partnership with sports nutrition experts, PowerBar.

Fanatic brand manager, Craig Gertenbach has just announced that the Fanatic International Windsurf team has struck a deal with the leading producer of sports energy products, PowerBar.

Utilized by top athletes in over 35 countries, PowerBar has grown to be synonymous with nutrition, energy, and optimum performance. Fanatic’s trainer, Aly Sabri has already noted a marked increase in the rider’s performance after using the PowerBar products, and hopes to see the team gain its best results yet in this year of competition.

In addition to supplying the riders with PowerBar products, Andre Paskowski (Fanactic, North Sails) and Klaas Voget (Fanatic, NeilPryde) will also receive financial support from PowerBar to help bolster their seasons campaigns.

Andre and Klass commented:

Andre: "I am really happy to find with PowerBar a new sponsor for Klaas, me and all the international Fanatic Team. For sure their Products will help me to perform better at all contests! Nutrition is a major aspect in all professional sports. It is awesome that PowerBar together with our Fanatic Team Coach Aly Sabri give us 100% the right support in this area."

Klass: "I've just finished university in sports science and know how sports nutrition effects the performance of the muscles. We've tried the PowerBars and Powergels during last years contests with our coach Aly Sabri and we really felt a difference. I'm stoked that we are supported by PowerBar, a company that is leading in their field - just like my other sponsors”

With competition getting more and more competitive year on year, it’s no surprise to see windsurfers looking to gain advantages through all aspects of personal performance, such as nutrition. Time will tell how much of an impact these measures make.
