FIN-3 Tuomo Naalisvaara signs new sponsorship deals to help him pursue his dream.

Finnish wave sailor Tuomo Naalisvaara (Starboard, Severne) continues to show defiance in the face of adversity and rip harder than ever, despite hailing from the cold shores of the Baltic Sea, which are known to freeze during the coldest periods of winter.

Tuomo had his chance to showcase his skills to the international audience at his first PWA event in Tiree, Scotland in 2007. Following this event, Tuomo spent the winter hard at work training in Maui, and flies to Pozo this month in preparation for the PWA Gran Canaria event.

Helping him on his crusade are four big companies that believe in Tuomo’s goal to reach the top of the sport, and have pledged their full support to make what once appeared unreachable, a reality.

Hätälä Oy is the second largest fish processor in Finland, as well as the most modern fish processing plant in Northern Europe. Tuomo believes he shares the same values as Hätälä Oy: Health and appreciation of both our surroundings and partners. provides specialist services for Gas Turbine users.

Inx-Systems is specialized in developing and manufacturing measuring devises based on machine vision technology. Their products are mainly used in the wood working industry, especially sawmills.

HUB logistics specializes in controlling material flows, managing information and optimizing capital, while offering logistics service solutions that add value to company supply chains.

Tuomo is also sponsored by Starboard, Severne Sails, Rip Curl and Rautio sports.
