RRD Push The Boundaries

Italian board manufacturer, RRD, release the industry’s most extensive range of boards in a revolutionary new construction. Behold, the FSW X-Tech.

Fresh on the scene for 2009, Roberto Ricci Designs release their Freestyle Wave X-Tech board range. The boards come in a whopping ten different volumes, so there’s literally a board to suit everyone.

Building on the success of the hugely popular FSW range, RRD have sided with innovation to produce the boards in the all new, X-Tech construction. This revolutionary technology claims to be able to offer custom shapes to a wide range of windsurfers, thanks to a more durable construction. To the consumer, this means a line of boards that are easier to use, and will take more punishment than ever before.

For those of a technical disposition, RRD state the X-Tech construction to be, ‘a new technology based on the combination of wood veneers, wood stringers, biaxial glass fibres together EPS core with different densities.’
