Freestyle Connection

Seventeen year old Brazilian freestyle ripper João Henrique Barros Ferreira goes live.

For a glance into the future of freestyle, look no further than João Henrique Barros Ferreira. At just 17 years old, ‘Janjão’ already has a deep bag of tricks at his disposal, and lives in the perfect location to polish and perfect these to make a real impact on the PWA’s freestyle tour.

Following his PWA debut in 2008 at the Podersdorf freestyle World Cup, Ferreira has been working tirelessly to improve his skills in the hopes of making an impact on the professional windsurfing scene.

Impressively, the Brazilian boasts having windsurfed since the age of 7, putting him in good stead to follow in the footsteps of fellow Brazilian freestyle World Champion, Marcilio Browne.
