Next season Starboard

The innovative board brand shows off its 2010 models on a fresh new site, packed full of features

Currently lying second in the PWA constructors’ league, Starboard have upped their game online with dedicated sites to show off their top of the range products such as their new wave machine, the Quad (check it out HERE), and their successful crossover range, the Kode (HERE). Both action videos and technical videos are embedded into these sites to help guide you around the products and make your buying decisions easier.

The boards really stand out this year with eye-catching outlines, and great graphics. With all of the wood running through the boards, they look more like a piece of artwork than something you’d put on the rocks in Pozo! There is no doubt that the 2010 boards will be at the front of the fleet on the PWA tour, especially with the likes of PWA Pozo Wave Champion Philip Koster (Starboard, NeilPryde, Da Kine), and 36 times World Champion Bjorn Dunkerbeck (Starboard, Severne), fronting up their international team.

The new Starboard website also incorporates funky features such as the Starboard Corner. Here you can watch weekly videos from windsurfing heroes, including Starboard founder Jim Drake, PWA all round super star Kevin Pritchard (Starboard, Gaastra, Da Kine), and Morrocan airtime magician Boujmaa Guillol (Starboard, Severne). The new website also consists of recent updates from the brands team riders, tests on the new equipment from magazines across the globe – check out a recent quad test HERE, and much, much more.
