Moroccan Magic

UMI Pictures presents two days in Morocco with top PWA rider Thomas Traversa.

The latest offering from the specialised windsurfing media house follows Thomas Traversa (Tabou, Gaastra) around the breaks of Moulay, Bouzerktoun. A chilled out soundtrack and some great footage from one of the World’s best wave sailors makes for a great 5 minutes.

Filmed in Moulay, the piece wouldn’t be complete without a few clips of local airtime legend, Boujmaa Guillol (Starboard, Severne). Unfortunately he sustained an injury whilst attempting a pushloop into forward so there is only a small section of him.

However, there is more than enough action packed in with Traversa tearing up the mystical Moroccan waters along with fellow Frenchman, Yann Sorlut (RRD, Simmer). Sorlut looks to have some awesome laid back rides whilst Traversa throws in his usual array of aerial antics.

Added as a bonus towards the end, there’s also some footage of Kauli Seadi (JP, NeilPryde, MFC, Mormaii) shredding in some more appealing looking turquoise seas, and a slightly scary looking - for most - big day at Jaws.

We’re really impressed with the footage coming from UMI and look forward to their next release. With many of the PWA’s top riders involved and great music selection, the media house is only going one way.
