Polakow Does Cocos

JP’s fearless front man heads to the Cocos islands to charge the unchartered Indian Ocean waters.

Not to be outdone by wingman Robby Swift’s (JP / NeilPryde) champagne January on Maui, the king of big wave riding himself has just released a video of his exploits from the Cocos Islands last year.

Check the footage for yourself, but we’d say say the gamble and rollercoaster ride around the Island definitely paid off.

JP commented: “I have heard rumors of perfect waves breaking in crystal clear waters off the coast of Australia with little or no one out. The Island is called the Cocos or Keeling Islands. So when some of my Aussie mates called me up taunting me to come along for a quick trip I could not resist. The trip was made possible with the assistance from Cocos Island Tourism Association.”

Check out the ten minute clip from the trip HERE.
