Freeride Freddy by Matt Pritchard

Let’s face it, not everyone can find perfect windsurfing conditions. Going even further, perfect conditions are different for each and every one of us. I’ve been checking all the forums, and realize that there’s more to windsurfing than what we see in the world of Professional sailing. It’s more likely that ninety percent of all sailors are searching for any amount of wind to blast around on their biggest sails!

That leads me to my point. This year, the Freeride Freddy section will be dedicate to those of you wanting to know more about the more ordinary things in your day to day sailing.

If you have any info or input, your comments are very welcome. When you find a perfect setting, or if you raise your boom and suddenly you start making every one of your jibes, we want to know about it. Don’t be shy. The more people out there sharing their knowledge and tricks, the better off we all can be. Once the Mid-winters are finished, I will be interviewing Tinho Dornellas to get more inside on making your experience on the water that much more fun. So until then, sheet in, hang on and be sure to fall off every once in a while.

The name of the game is having fun - so enjoy and stay tuned.
