Autumn Breeze

One British sailor that isn’t letting the cold stop him getting out on the water is freestyler Jamie Drummond.

Winter in the UK brings with it shorter days, cold water and rain, but its not all bad. The turn on the season from summer to autumn also brings with it howling winds and ferocious storms, perfect for windsurfing.

PWA freestyler Jamie Drummond (Starboard), is certainly taking advantage of the incredible conditions in this epic video. Throwing a whole variety of explosive manoeuvres on the flat water of the south coast, along with a number of double moves for good measure.

Drummond made his debut appearance on the PWA at the Podersdorf surf world cup in May, where an early start, particularly cold winds and choppy waters caused even the finest freestylers some trouble. Having spent the summer training hard and making sure his burners are up to scratch, Drummond plans to test his skills against the worlds best and complete the whole PWA freestyle tour in 2012.

Make sure you keep and eye on what Drummond is up to at www.jamiek787.com and check out his astonishing winter freestyle action HERE.
