2012 on Tour

The PWA calendar for 2012 is now available, boasting fourteen incredible spots, where the finest windsurfers in the world will do battle to claim the 2012 world champion titles.

2012 is set to be an unbelievable year on tour with fourteen spots confirmed and over ninety days of competition scheduled in. It will be one of the most astounding years on tour with more live streaming than ever before bringing you the action straight into your home.

Following the huge success of the new spots in 2011, the PWA will be revisiting the turquoise waters and golden sands of the Caribbean for more action in Bonaire and Aruba. Having been treated to perfect wind and waves in 2011, the PWA has wasted no time in securing the Tenerife stop for 2012 as well as the freestyle and slalom extravaganza on Mui Ne beach in Thailand.

Boosting the men’s slalom series up to eight events for 2012 is the Marseille stop where the fastest racers in the world will battle it out on the warm waters of the Mediterranean.

Alongside the new events will be the usual stops, including the gruelling Canary Island leg of competition, many European events and of course the challenging South Korean slalom stop.
