KS: I was at home for the Brazilian summer. It was a fun time. I had some good sailing, surfing, Kite surfing and lots of girls! After that I have been in Hawaii.

Q: How was Hawaii...good wind and waves?

KS: It was OK, but was not a great Hawaii Spring season. There were plenty of waves but not so much wind. In a month I sailed just one week and half. I mean the days that did happen they were very sick, perfect waves and nice wind.

Q: Are you pleased to be with your new sponsor AHD?

KS: Definitely, for me was a good change because at the moment AHD is really focus in make my own board range in production, so for me it is quite exciting to be able to develop the production boards and be involved with the brand. I have been enjoying making the boards with Jean Bouldoires I think we have made some good boards. So AHD will soon be coming out with a range of KS wave boards pretty soon.

Q: Where are you right now?

Q: What are your ambitions for the season?

KS: Just to sail good in the waves and be happy with my sailing.

Q: Have you got any new moves you are working on?

KS: I have a move called the BOLCAT; it is secret at the moment.

Q: How do you like the sailing in the Canary Islands?

KS: I think it is a good place, just different from everywhere else. I mean it is a great place to really go radical with your jumping and stuff like that....

Q: Whom do you travel and hang out with?

KS: Konan Lang, Ricardo Campello, Diony, John Skye and some other Brazilian mates.

Q: Do you miss Brazil?

KS: For sure, all the time, I wish I could stay more at home. I mean it is nice to travel but sometimes you just want to be at home with your family, friends and nice girls...

Q: Words to live by?

KS: Be patient and learn to deal with hard situations. This way you can really help yourself.
