Skyeboy’s Year 2012 Part 1

Watch John Skye’s first video of a five part series featuring great action from around the globe

This is John Skye’s (RRD / Mystic / MFC) first chapter, introduction, of a five part video series which will be released over the coming weeks. The videos will follow Skyeboy’s year of 2012. The Brit finished the 2012 PWA Wave World Tour in fourteenth place overall, with his best performance of the year coming in Tenerife, where he finished a highly impressive seventh.

As already mentioned, the video features action from various spots around the world. Skyeboy throws several sick double forwards, combined with fluid wave riding which included smooth takas and radical wave 360s. Here’s what Skye had to say about his upcoming series.

“I have been a bit slack with videos over the last year. I never quite seemed to get enough footage from each trip to put something together, but suddenly I realised my hard drive was nearly full of random clips from all over the world and from loads of different people. So whilst away in Klitmoller and Sylt this year I started to put it all together and make something from it all. As its taken me so long to get it done, I thought I would spread it out over a few weeks. So starting today we have Chapter 1 - "Intro" and then each week I will add another chapter.”
