JERICOACOARA TIME

Michael Rossmeier and Philip Soltysiak take us on a tour of Jericoacoara, in the first of a four part series

It’s that time of year again when many of the elite freestylers in the world head over to the windsurfing paradise of Jericoacoara, Brazil. Now ‘Windsurfing into the Unknown’, which consists of Michael Rossmeier (F2 / Gaastra) and Philip Soltysiak (Starboard / Sailworks), have just explored several spots around Jeri, which are still easily accessible but far less well known than the main break.

The opening episode features action from a couple of lagoons, Lagoa Azul and Paraiso respectively. The duo give an overview of the different conditions on offer and of course there’s plenty of sailing in the video itself as they land anything from fully planing shakas to radical skopus and culos.

Make sure you keep your eyes peeled for the next episode of the Jericoacoara spot guide. If you want to see where else Rossmeier and Soltysiak have been on their ‘Windsurfing into the Unknown’ adventures then be sure to check out the website here.
