PROFFITT IN WA

Ben Proffitt in a Western Australian dream

Ben Proffitt (Simmer) spent his winter in the world class waves of Western Australia. Unfortunately, as many of you will already know, his training was cut short after injuring his AC joint after an accidental hooked in pushloop. However his enforced time off the water has allowed Proffitt to produce a new gem of a video with the action captured before his injury.

Proffitt was clearly ripping before the unfortunate pushloop incident, so get ready to feast your eyes on eight minutes of highly entertaining video. The thirty-five year old sends spray flying by the bucked load as he links fluid, powerful turns on the perfect waves as well as throwing in sick goiters and radical front and backside wave 360s. Like always Proffitt was keen to push himself to the limit and he excels in the air with big double forwards, huge one-footed backloops, super tweaked pushloops and even a pushloop-forward. There’s also a great selection of wipeouts from when it goes wrong!

We wish Ben a speedy recovery and hope he is back out on the water ripping again soon.
