JP ALOHA CLASSIC

The good, the bad and the downright painful

What better way to the end the week than with thirteen minutes of pure windsurfing? Well, that’s exactly what we’ve got for you with this brilliant new clip of the JP team - produced by Robby Swift (JP / NeilPryde / Mystic / Maui Ultra Fins), who finished eighth - in action at the recent JP Aloha Classic PWA World Cup, which was hosted in association with the AWT.

The conditions for the event couldn’t have been better as over mast high waves and solid wind greeted the contestants and the whole of the JP team put on a fantastic display of sailing. Kauli Seadi (JP / Hot Sails Maui / MFC) ended the event with the biggest boasting rights of the JP team as he claimed third place overall, just ahead of nineteen year old prodigy Morgan Noireaux (JP / Hot Sails Maui / Maui Ultra Fins) in fourth.

The entire team put their bodies on the line, as they go for broke at the home of windsurfing - Ho’okipa Beach Park. Prepare yourself for thirteen minutes of traditional gauging turns and monster aerials together with the latest and most extreme maneuvers such as huge goiters and sick air takas. Of course when going this big there has to be some inevitable wipeouts, which range from sheer entertainment to downright painful. Antoine Martin (JP / NeilPryde) in particular has several massive wipeouts as he continues to try and push the sport to the next level with no-handed and one-footed aerials. The video also features Ricardo Campello (JP / NeilPryde / MFC) and Jules Denel (JP / NeilPryde).
