BRAWZHI’S JOURNEY

Marcilio ‘Brawzinho’ Browne - The man to beat in 2014

Marcilio ‘Brawzinho’ Browne (Goya Windsurfing / MFC) completed his life long dream in 2013 of being crowned the PWA Wave World Champion for the first time. Browne now joins an elusive group of sailors who has claimed victory in more than one discipline, as the Brazilian also won the 2007 PWA Freestyle World Championship.

Now a new video has just been released, which illustrates Browne’s journey from a young child to the PWA super star he is today. The reigning world champion started windsurfing from a very early age in his home country of Brazil, and after years of hard work everything finally paid off for him.

Browne is not only a fantastic jumper but he is also creative and aggressive on the wave, which won the adulation of both the crowd and the judges in 2013. The twenty-four year old busts his way through perfectly executed double forwards as well as slashy, aggressive turns which he combines with his now trademark air takas.
