CAPE TOWN

Attacking the waves and flat water of South Africa with Jacopo Testa

After his winter training in Brazil, Jacopo Testa (RRD / AL360), continued his travelling in 2014 as he headed to the world renowned shores of Cape Town, South Africa. Cape Town offers idyllic conditions for any level of windsurfer, thanks to it’s clockwork like trade winds and its variety of beaches and lakes on offer, which provide either world class waves or mirror flat water.

Testa, who shot to fame in the windsurfing world after his air kabikuchi went viral last year, enjoyed both the flat water and the waves on his latest adventure and his sailing continues to rapidly progress. From planing spock culos to trademark air kabikuchis and air skopus the Italian looks to be in terrific form ahead of the new season, and he even shows his appetite for the waves as he launches into big aerials and stomps big backies and pushloops.
