PREPARATION

Four days, two sailors, four minutes of mind blowing freestyle

Before Dieter van der Eyken (Starboard / Severne) departed for the first PWA Freestyle event of the year in Bonaire - starting on the 20th June - a last minute forecast appeared for Port La Nouvelle in the south of France, so together he and fellow countryman Yentel Caers (Fanatic / North / Maui Ultra Fins) grabbed their equipment and set off for some last minute preparation and training.

The duo were rewarded for their efforts with four days of solid wind and the perfect freestyle conditions Port La Nouvelle is renowned for. The action they captured is simply amazing with monster moves being thrown left right and centre. From fully planing spock culos to radical air skopus and explosive kabikuchis, the action is relentless, so prepare yourself for four minutes of non-stop freestyle of the highest level.

van der Eyken is already in Bonaire ahead of the event and the Belgian will be hoping to make a strong start to the season after enjoying his most successful season to date - 5th overall  last year.
