Arthur Arutkin scores waves and wind in Wissant on his return to France

Arthur Arutkin (Fanatic / North) successfully navigated his way through the trials into the Tenerife PWA World Cup main event, sponsored by Dunkerbeck Eyewear and Siam Park, at the age of just seventeen years old. Arutkin pushed Marcilio ‘Brawzinho’ Browne (Goya Windsurfing / MFC) all the way in the single elimination before Dario Ojeda (Tabou / GA Sails / AL360 / MFC) ended his challenge in the double. However, the young Frenchman showed plenty of potential and is surely a sailor we will see more of in the coming years.

On his return to France, Arutkin scored great conditions almost immediately in Wissant, Nord-Pas-de-Calais as he returned just in time for a few days of summer south westerlies. Arutkin shows more of his fluid, vertical turns, which gained the attention of the judges in Tenerife as well as rotating through big backloops and stalled forwards.
