SUMMER IN THE CANARIES

Markus Rydberg aims to conquer the trials after a summer of training in the Canaries

Markus Rydberg attended the trials for both the PWA Pozo and Tenerife World Cups, but unfortunately things didn’t work out for him this time around. However, the young Swede hasn’t been deterred and if anything is now more determined than ever to conquer the trials as he heads to Klitmoeller for the KIA Cold Hawaii PWA World Cup, which starts on the 15th September.

Rydberg spent his entire summer out in the Canary Islands taking advantage of the consistent conditions on offer to gain as much time on the water as possible, and has now released his latest podcast of his summer abroad. His latest movie shows Rydberg rotating through forward and backloops as well as rotating through dynamic takas in the pocket.

Find out whether Rydberg can advance through the trials in Cold Hawaii by tuning into the PWA live stream from the 15th September. For now though make sure you watch Rydberg’s latest performance in the Canaries here.
