On the 4th April it was announced that the men’s PWA Freestyle fleet would be heading to the South of France for the opening event of the year after intensive events between the PWA and the event organisers of the Mondial Du Vent came to fruition. 

However, some of the world’s top freestylers are already in Leucate prior to the event such is the quality of the conditions on offer for freestyle with frequent strong winds, which can reach 60 knots, together with a selection of perfect flat water to choppy spots.

At the moment Yentel Caers (JP / NeilPryde) and Balz Müller (Patrik / Severne) are just a couple of sailors who have been training in Leucate, after their trip to Cape Town, and the duo have just released a brand new movie from a variety of spots; Port La Nouvelle, La Ganguise, La Mine, Lac de Jouarres, Le Goulet and Le Barcares Teleski. Caers and Müller both sail at an exceptionally high level with radical moves such as air kabikuchis and skopus to double forward attempts and the latest combo moves.
