New Year Resolutions

Pierre Mortefon makes his hopes and aspirations clear for 2017

For the last two seasons Pierre Mortefon (Fanatic / NorthSails) has been heavily involved in the title race for the Men’s PWA Slalom World Champion, but having finished on the overall podium for the last three year’s running the Frenchman has made his intentions clear at the start of the new year that his main goal for 2017 will be to win his first world crown. Mortefon has established himself as one the top candidates for the title in recent years and 2017 promises to see another fascinating battle for the slalom world crown.

Mortefon has just released his latest video and had this to say: “I wanted to take time to send you my Best Wishes for 2017 and a great year!

From my side,  all the expectations and goals are clear with the World Title ! Everything is alright since the 01/01 and I already spent time on the water after a long needed break after the long 2016 season. I am super happy with my new gear and the R&D team from North Sails and Fanatic worked really well.

It’s also super nice from the Mortefon side with the entry of Marion (my sister) on to the North Sails and Fanatic Team ! We can also thank the TEAM SUD DE FRANCE and the GRAND NARBONNE for the combined support … I hope this collaboration will help both of us but I am pretty sure that this family story is A+.

Here’s my latest update - enjoy - this last video production from Robin Christol.

Stay tuned & All the best

Pierre.”
