St Barth

While many of the world’s top slalom sailors may be training in Europe - Antoine Questel (Starboard / S2Maui) 9th overall in 2017 and Delphine Cousin Questel (Starboard / S2Maui), who finished last season as the vice-world champion have decided to spend their winter training in the tropical paradise of St. Barth.

Antoine and Delphine about their latest edit: St Barth delivered amazing conditions this winter and we were able to sail everyday in foil or slalom! We had a great time and begin to tune our equipment 2018 S2Maui VENOM and Starboard. We are already very happy about the performance of our equipment.

Delphine: “My goal this year is to win a World Championship title and I hope we will have a great tour and great battles with all my opponents Sarah-Quita [Offringa], Lena Erdil (Starboard / Point-7 / AL360), Marion Mortefon (Fanatic / NorthSails) and all the other women. I am already excited to go to our 1st event in Japan!”

Antoine: “I had a great season last year in foil and slalom discipline and I hope to do the same for 2018. My goal is to reach the top 5 this year even if I know the level on the water is super high! Can’t wait to be on the start line this year!”
