Fun loving Laure

Hard at work in Fuerteventura

Laure takes a win against Daida Moreno!

Downtime in Dahab

23-yr old Swiss star Laure Treboux (SUI-4 Naish / Naish) had an amazing debut season, finishing up 3rd overall in the women’s Freestyle rankings in 2006.

In the 10 years since she fell in love with the sport Laure has followed her dreams to become a pro windsurfer through hard work and constant training, despite stalling her entry onto the PWA World Tour until this 2006 ‘Experimental’ season!

Laure’s already made up her mind windsurfing will always be her life, and that by using her passion for waves and freestyle, will always be involved, be it as a pro, or by simply introducing others to our unique sport.

But as the level of the women’s sport gets more and more intense, the bar is raised ever higher in what must be achieved in the out-of -season training period.

Luckily that just means more fun on the water for Dahab based Laure, who’s enthusiasm when out sailing goes from strength to strength, as you can see by the clip she sent us of her in training here.

Roll on 2007 and a whole new era of freestyle!
