Steffi Goes Gaastra

Gaastra welcome Kiel’s Lady of the Waves aboard!

Storm chasing German ripper Steffi Wahl (F2 / Gaastra) has signed a deal with sailmaking giants Gaastra for the the 2007 season onwards.

The 28 yr-old Schönberger Strand local, who's a part-timer on the wave and freestyle tours, balances a career with her on water passions, and, despite not being able to make all the events finished an impressive 6th in the waves at the toughly contested Pozo event in 2006.

Currently down  in Cape Town, with half of the pro windsurfing world, an excited Steffi called in to let us know the news. ‘I’ve only got a three week vacation break down here, but I’m loving the new sails so much, and I think I’m going to use the Manic’s on the wave tour this year’

Steffi joins a star-studded Gaastra team, who've been spending big lately, including the acquisition of Brazilian Wunderkind Marcilio Browne (Mistral / Gaastra), who won the Boards Expression Session at the recent Cabo Verde World Cup!

Thanks Steffi for the update.
