Fanatic Young Blood Camp

There’s a fantastic opportunity for up and coming Freestylers to showcase their skills, learn some more and win a sponsorship deal while rubbing shoulders with champions!

From August 17 through 22nd (arrival & coaching from August 14th, departure August 23rd) Fanatic, North Sails, in association with Planet Windsurfing, and ION are hosting an International Young Blood Freestyle Camp at the Planet Windsurfing Center in Dahab, Egypt.

A highly qualified training team consisting of Freestyle Pro’s Yoli de Brendt (V-26), Tom Brendt (G-696) and Aly Sabri (doctor and official coach of the Int. Fanatic and North Sails Windsurfing Pro Team and German Freestyle Ski Team) will look after the competitors and show them all kind of tricks and moves on the water as well as on the beach.

The special guest stars arriving will be Freestyle World Champion 2006 Gollito Estredo (V-01) and the Italian Freestyle Champ 2006 Filippo Buratti (ITA-717). Aged only 17, Gollito is the youngest World Cup Champ ever and so is the most perfect person to watch and learn from!

Gollito will be an active part of the camp and will help and motivate the participants to try new moves! Craig Gertenbach (Fanatic Brand Manager and former World Cup Pro) will also be present to answer any questions in terms of sponsorship, professional contest preparation, etc. Of course he will also keep an eye on the Gollito Estredo´s of tomorrow as possible talents for the Fanatic and North Sails Windsurf teams.

The main goal of the camp is to further the development of Freestyle moves with youngsters from many nationalities enjoying their enthusiasm for windsurfing together. The most talented participant will get a National sponsorship for at least one year with equipment of Fanatic, North Sails & ION!
