Starboard ProKids Contest

Top Pros Kiri Thode and Sarah-Quita Offringa win Pro Kids crowns

It's a testament to the youth scene, Freestyle itself, and event suporters Starboard that the growing pro junior contest scene can atttract the current PWA men's tour leader and women's tour runner-up to compete amongst top names of the future.

Returning to the Dutch Antilles, Starboard riders Thode and Offringa, aged just 17 and 16-yrs old respectively, enjoyed the lighter breeze and sub-planing tricks after the strong wind environment of the PWA Canaries tour leg.

There is so much talent being nurtured just in that region, let alone worldwide, that the elite names on the PWA scene now must prepare hard for what's to come sooner rather than later.

You can read about the comp here. Congratulations to all the winners.
