Ibiraquera beach has wonderful 2' to 6' beach rollers which break on a shallow sand bottom-the flat water sailing for fast slalom cruising or learning on the lagoons is superb. There are four main lakes (called lagoons because of their eventual channel to the ocean): Lagoa do saco, Lagoa de cima, Lagoa do meio, and Lagoa de baixo.
