I did learn the basic steps of windsurfing at Sunny Beach, Bulgaria a few years ago. After I moved to Bonaire in the summer of 2006 I realy fall in love with the windsurf sport.
You can find me almost every afternoon at Sorobon. One of the best spots in the world for windsurfing.
Here I can train everyday, whole year round in very good (wind) conditions, with some very good windsurfers like Olympic windsurfer and Champion Patoen Saragoza en Taty Frans (PWA rider).
Besides my normal work (teacher physical education at the SGB) I'm helping out at the Aquaspeed Club Bonaire. The local kids from the island can go windsurfing and practise there skill's. It's great to see how muchs fun the kids have and that makes me feel happy.
I started quite quick taking part in the slalom and formula competions here on the island Bonaire and now I do also take part in international event's as well.
