As head designer and the inspiration behind the brand, Ben is renowned for pushing the development envelope. His intense interest in theoretical design, combined with his talent on the water brings the unique feel and usability to SEVERNE sails. He spends much of his time traveling between photo shoots, distributors and the SEVERNE production facility while constantly preparing new designs. Still an avid competitor, he beat a host of pro riders to win the 2004 Australian Wave Sailing Championship.
