Biography

Dennis Littel
2005 was a fantastic year for me, after a very disappointing year before this one. What went wrong in 2004 went fantastic in 2005. Personal and specially in the windsurfing scene. Became Dutch Champion FW for the very first time, and collected a bullet in a very strong Gold fleet race during the FW Europeans. During the Slalom races I missed a lot of experience against the ‘old’ slalom sailers who know how it worked because they did competition in the glory years of slalom. During these races I realized what to do, so that’s what I’ve bin doing.
2006 has to become a great year. We have some nice events on the calendar, so it all looks really promising! I am training hard for this 2006 season because I want to fight for the top positions. This winter I’ve bin training and testing at Maui and Australia for a long time, and this gave me more and more experience to become a good sailer. I never spend a winter outside the Netherlands, so this was a really big step forward. Also my testing time with MauiSails was fantastic, and during testing I learned a lot from the pro’s. Because Slalom 42 made its way trough, its gonna be really cool for the spectators to watch and feel the adrenaline! So 2006 bring it on!

Goals:
Compete at the highest level, and get some good results in 2006! My goal is to finish top 5 in the Formula Europeans and top 10 of the world. And I want to get in the slalom 42 finals.
