2012 Catalunya Costa Brava Spain

The Gulf of Roses has 12 kms. of beaches encompassing 4 towns (Roses, Castelló d'Empúries-Empuriabrava, Sant Pere Pescador and L'Escala). All are beautiful tourist towns with a big potential for water sports and other holiday activities.

The wind blows all year long, the Tramuntana (mistral) in the winter (20/45 kms.) and thermic winds in summer (10/25 kms.). The hot weather and the long beach make this spot a great location for beginners and there are 12 windsurf schools along the gulf.
