17:00 The race crew have decided to call it a day and release the sailors. Competition will resume at 9:30 tomorrow morning with a first possible start at 10. Thanks for tuning in. Stop by tomorrow for more action! 16:45 The wind has not changed it is blowing around 3-5 knots on shore but the sun has come out next update at 5 16:30 The sailors are taking the oppurtunity to relax on the beach until the conditions improve. next announcement in 15 minutes. 16:15 We are still on a 15 minute announcements. 16:00 The onshore breeze is not showing many signs of materialising, the sailors are waiting patiently for the next announcement in 15 minutes. 15:45 The next announcement will be in 15 minutes, the sailors and race crew are all ready to go we just need the wind to play ball. 15:30 Still no change out here we are still on 15 mins rolling standy by the next announcement will be at 3:45. 15:15 We are still on standy by here, the wind is still onshore and we have overcast skies. Stay tuned. 14:45 The wind is reading 6-8 knots onshore, the race crew are adjusting the course and hope to commence racing at 3:15, next announcement 3pm. 14:30 The wind is onshore still insufficient for racing but building, the next announcement will be at 2:45 with a first possible start at 3pm. 14:00 The wind has shifted onshore and the sea is looking glassy flat. The next announcement is at 2:30 with a first possible start of 2:45. 13:52 The wind has dropped of for the moment, we are back on standby. Next update will be will be at 2 with a first possible return to racing at 2:15 13:41 The wind has shifted slightly onshore causing it to drop. It is reading 8-12 on the outside of the course and a 6-10 on the inside so we are nearly there. We are now on 15 minute announcements. The next decision will be at 12:45 with a first possible start at 1. 11:30 The wind has shifted onshore and it is coming through around 5-9 knots. The sea state is dead calm with a small bit of swell breaking onto the shore. We are still on 1 hour rolling standby, next update at 12:30. 10:30 We currently have clear skies and a very gentle breeze, we are on standby until 11:30. 9:37 The skippers meeting has been done.
