12:40 The wind is teasing us again out here in Bonaire. A few of the sailors have started to plane, however the wind is inconsistent and has been backing off as quickly as it arrived.

8:56 Saragoza open the heat with a culo, Mier lands an e-slider diablo. Zan opens his heat with a shaka and a ponch, followed by a no handed flaka from Ruenes. Saragoza is really working his home ground, flying around a clean burner. Mier land a lollipop whilst Ruenes has to pump really hard to get planing. Zan drops a shaka out the back.

8:47 The heats are 7 minutes long with 3 moves counting on each side.
8:46 Rowe opens the heat with a flaka, followed by Da Silva's own. Rowe sticks a o/h Puneta. De Zeeuw pulls a clean shaka in front of the judges. Da Silva claims a spock 540 whilst Finies upstages him with a o/h spock. De Zeeuw lands a wet kono, Rowe flies into the inside and lands a smooth grubby 540. Da Silva pumps into an e-slider. The sailors have to work hard to stay on the plane. Rowe crashes his first bob attempt but claims the second whilst De Zeeuw manages to squeeze around a double Puneta.
