Next call 16:15, first possible start 16:45. 15:45 There hasn't been any improvement in the wind strength and the next announcement will be made at 4pm with the first possible start at 4:30pm. 15:30 The conditions remain light, so the next call will be at 15:45, first possible start 16:15. 15:25 The freestyle fleet has now been released and their skippers meeting will be held at 9am tomorrow morning with the first possible start at 9:30am and that is the same for the wave fleet as well. 15:15 The next call for the slalom will be at 15:30 with the first possible start at 4pm. 15:00 We are going to move back to announcements so the next call with be in 15 minutes time with the first possible start at 15:45. 14:55 The wind is still onshore but it's too light for the competition to begin right now. 14:40 The competitors from heat number 1 have been called back to the beach and will will remain on standby for the time being. 14:30 The AP flag is up on the committee boat, so the sailors from heat 1 are currently in standby mode. 14:19 Dunkerbeck has been out testing the conditions. The wind is very onshore, which could make for some interesting racing with the chop/waves. 14:00 The slalom will begin at 2:30pm as the wind is currently between 10-14 knots. 13:45 The winds not quite there yet, so the next call will be at 2pm with the first possible start at 2:30pm. 13:30 The wind is now cross-onshore and a wind line is moving in. The next announcement will be at 13:45, with the first possible start at 14:15. 13:00 The conditions are showing signs of improving, so the  next announcement will be in thirty minutes with the first possible start at 2pm. 12:42 The wind has changed direction from being offshore to now being almost cross-shore and it is building, so we may see some slalom very soon. 12:00 The waiting game continues on the sixth day of the PWA Sylt World Cup, there's a few people taking advantage of the glassy conditions by SUPing. With the wind remaining light the next announcement for the slalom will be at 1pm with the first possible start at 1:30pm. 11:00 There's been no change to the conditions here in Sylt this morning and it remains pretty glassy. The next call for the slalom fleet will be at 12pm with the first possible start at 12:30. 10:00 The next call for the freestyle sailors will be at 1pm with the first possible start at 1:30pm. The wave sailors are released for the day and they will meet again tomorrow at 9am with the first possible start at 09:30. The next call for slalom will be at 11am with the view to starting from 11:30. Yesterday saw Jose 'Goliito' Estredo win the men's freestyle double elimination, whilst the men and women's wave double eliminations were almost completed, with just the top four men remaining and the top five women. The wind is currently extremely light, but the forecast does offer winds of 12-18 knots, so it should begin to pick up soon.
