Nice tweaked backside air from Fernandez and then milks the whitewater. Browne with a sick backside 360 before linking in a frontside hit, but he goes down on his last turn, Browne moves into the lead with his last wave. Browne with another backside air which he backs up with a smooth taka. Good wave from Denel, ending with a nice float over the whitewater. Campello stomps a one-footed forward and then finally finds his double ramp, which he lands perfectly. Both sailors end with good waves. 14:05 Tweaked backside air from Denel. Campello with a backside slash, but then falls out the back of the wave on his frontside hack. Denel gets super vertical on a nice section but he can't quite pull off his taka to claim it.  14:00 Denel opens with a one-handed backloop and a few powerful turns both front and backside. Sanchez with a really nice backside hit. Good one-handed backie from Sanchez and he almost pulls of a super quick backside 360. Traversa finishes with a long wave ride, milking it all the way to the inside. One-handed backie from Traversa. 13:38 Heat 10b is now sailing - Sanchez vs Traversa Results Heat 10a - Swift advances 13:36 Lewis lands a forward loop and then attempts a double forward, but just catches the mast on the second rotation. Nice frontside smack from Fernandez, and Skye with a smooth backside slash. Nice shaka on the whitewater from Fernandez to end the heat. Skye finished with a couple of frontside hacks.  13:14 Fernandez connects three frontside snaps together. Skye with a good frontside hack into backside but then goes down on his final turn. Nice backside from Fernandez and he links several other turns before trying to force a taka. The winds currently cross shore giving excellent jumping conditions at the moment. 10:00 Head judge Duncan Coombs will be officially briefing the sailors at 10:15am. With the conditions improving minute by minute we are going to try and start at 10:30am. Bigger waves are starting to come through at times, providing some excellent jump ramps. 09:30 Conditions aren't there quite yet so we'll wait another half an hour for the waves to build.
