The skippers' meeting for the slalom and freestyle sailors will be held at 09:30am with the first possible start at 10:30am, whilst the skippers' meeting for the wave sailors will be at 1pm with the first possible start at 1:30pm. 15:25 The official opening ceremony will be coming up at 4pm. 14:10 The wind has dropped back here in Sylt and the wall-to-wall sunshine has been replaced by a lingering layer of low level cloud. There's plenty of people around the event site, who are kicking off their weekends early. 12:30 Registration is currently taking place here in Sylt. There's been a little bit of wind this morning with several of the slalom sailors testing their gear ahead of the competition. The forecast looks good from Sunday onwards, with the wind looking as though it increases throughout the week with cross-off to offshore winds.
