16:35 The youths have been whittled down to the top four after 3 hours of competition. The forecast for tomorrow and the rest of the week still looks brilliant. The skippers' meeting tomorrow morning will be held at 10am with the first possible start at 10:30am.
13:57 The first junior heat was abandoned. The first youth heat is now sailing.
13:30 The junior heat will begin at 1:45pm. They will have a 14 minute heat with two waves to count.
13:00 The wind hasn't picked up, so the youth's remain on standby. Next announcement at 1:30pm, first possible start 2pm.
12:45 The wind is still very light, so the next call will be at 1pm with a first possible start of 1:30pm.
12:00 Five youths are currently warming up, the conditions look good enough now, so the next announcement will be at 12:30pm with the first possible start at 1pm.
11:50 Apologies for the delay in the announcement we've been having a few technical issues. All sailors except the kids have now been released. The kids remain on standby with a bit of wind around. We'll keep you updated as the conditions progress.
10:00 We currently have wind from both directions at Ho'okipa. There's plenty of people out surfing. Next call at 11am.
