Toselli leads into the first followed by Mortefon and Moussilmani C. Everyone pumping to leave the first mark. 18:12 Results Heat 4 - 1st Questel 2nd Maynard 3rd Menegatti Cousin 4th  5th Iachino 6th Yilmazer 18:08 Questel manages to make the mark, but Maynard over takes him, Iachino in third place. 18:07 Questel who is in the lead looks like he's sailing to the wrong mark now. 18:06 Results Heat 2 - 1st Moussilmani C 2nd Toselli 3rd Vonk 4th Jossin 5th Moussilmani B 6th Diaz 18:04 Heat 4 is sailing again now - Rutkowski off to the best start. At the first mark it's still Rutkowski followed by Maynard, Lang and Cousin. 18:01 Heat 4 is now in countdown sequence. 17:59 Heat 4 is now sailing - General Recall - Asmussen and Albeau go over early. That's the reigning world champion and current tour leader out in the first round. 17:58 Toselli still leads followed by Moussilmani C, Vonk, Jossin, Diaz and Bordes and Angulo battling for the final qualifying place. Front two are miles out in front. 17:54 Heat 2 is now sailing - Angulo off to a good start. At the first gybe it's Toselli, Angulo, and Moussilmani and Vonk. 17:50 Results Heat 3 - 1st Costa Hoevel 2nd Buzianis 3rd Allen 4th Frans 5th Van Der Steen 6th Dagan 17:45 At the third Costa Hoevel in the lead followed by Buzianis, Van Der Steen and Allen. 17:43 There's a problem with seaweed in the starting area which is causing a bit of havoc. 17:42 Heat 3 is now sailing - Costa Hoevel off to a good start. Dagan, Van Der Steen and Buzianis are in the top three at the first mark, as a few sailors drop their gybe. 17:39 Heat cancelled! 17:38 Heat 2 is now sailing again - Jossin with the best start. Looks like we should be back in action very soon! 17:00 Everybody will be in standby mode from 5:15pm. Conditions are continuing to improve here in Turkmenistan. 16:55 The wind is beginning to fill in across the entire sailing area. In some parts we now have 8-12 knots, so conditions are getting closer. 16:45 The conditions still aren't suitable for racing so next announcement at 5pm with a first possible start at 5:15pm. Latest wind readings of 6-11 knots. 16:30 The wind has picked up from what it is, but it's still only 4-10 knots. Next call in 15 minutes time. First possible start 5pm. 16:00 The wind is starting to pick up now with the wind now cross to cross on from the right. Next call at 4:30pm first possible start 5pm. 15:00 The wind has swung to be starboard tack now, but it's still quite light. Hopefully as the temperature cools the wind will kick in! Next call 4pm first possible start 4:30pm. 14:00 Conditions haven't changed in the last half an hour so next all will be at 15:00 with the first possible start at 15:30. 13:30 The wind is still very light so next call at 2pm, first possible start 2:30pm. 12:30 With the wind remaining extremely light the next announcement will be at 1:30pm to allow the sailors to have lunch. The wind has now swung to be fully onshore and should continue to swing throughout the afternoon. 11:30 The wind remains very light for the time being, so the sailors remain on hold. There's a couple of freestyle jet skiers out on the water providing some entertainment at the moment. Next call 12pm, first possible start 12:15pm. 11:00 The temperature is continuing to rise here is Turkmenistan as the wind has dropped to almost nothing. The wind is still predicted to swing from the Easterly direction this morning to be NW for this afternoon and evening. Next announcement at 11:30am, first possible start 11:45am. 10:30 The next call for the sailors will be at 11am with the wind dropping back further. Cyril Moussilmani just behind. 07:57 Heat 2 is now in countdown sequence. 07:56 The local satellite forecast does have the wind increasing from 12 o'clock onwards with forecast showing winds of 11-15 knots for the afternoon, increasing to 15-20 knots in the evening. 07:52 The sailors are still making their way out to the start line, but already the wind is dropping back to 4.5 knots.  07:38 The wind is back to being 7-11 knots so the sailors have been called to the committee boat. 07:32 Sailors are in standby mode on the beach. The conditions were borderline, but the result will be kept. 07:15 There's a few complaints about the conditions in the first heat of the men's, but whether that heat will stand or not is still to be decided. 07:12 The Z flag is now up, so all sailors are coming back to the beach whilst we wait for the wind conditions to improve. 07:08 The wind is still dropping to 6 knots at times so the AP flag is still up at the moment. 07:06 Delphine Cousin has suffered a broken mast on the way to back to the beach after her opening victory. 07:00 Heat 2 has been cancelled due to a drop in the wind and also a change in the wind direction.
