Slalom Pro Training
After the success of last year’s training camp in Lanzarote, Kurosh Kiani (Starboard / Point-7 / Maui Ultra Fins) will once again be hosting another training camp this winter (February 1st-7th March). So if you fancy taking your racing to the next level why not get involved and pit yourself against some of the best sailors in the world.
Kurosh Kiani: “I wanted to share some exciting news with everyone about the upcoming winter activities on the island of Lanzarote.
Following the success of last winter, I’m once again putting together a training camp on the island of Lanzarote with the aim of simulating real World Cup racing and help everyone involved push their levels even higher.
This will be 5 weeks of action on the water given self analysis tools and a variety of conditions to test yourself in, all tied together to provide the best possible training.
Furthermore, at the end of the training camp period (March 7-10), we are also announcing the first ever Pro-AM slalom/Foil competition at the same spot in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote. This will give all the guys already taking part of the training to test out their skills in a real contest and to test out their gear before the season kicks off. As mentioned, this will be a Pro-Am format giving sailors of all levels the opportunity to battle it out against each other. There will also be a light wind foiling option on the schedule for this event. There is no doubt we’ll be having a great time at this event!
