Cold Hawaii Youth Windsurf Wave & Slalom World Cup
The wind and waves were still pumping in Cold Hawaii on Day 5 of the 2025 Cold Hawaii Youth Windsurf Wave & Slalom World Cup was all about fun on the water. Riders gathered at Middels Hanstholm at 10:00am for two non-competitive fun sessions, with everyone hitting the water to throw their biggest jumps and cleanest wave manoeuvres. It was pure stoke all around, and the standout of the day was no stranger to the podium — Anton Richter (JP / NeilPryde / Maui Ultra Fins) — who impressed with a stylish wave 360 and a high one-footed backloop. Overall, it was just a great show from all the riders.
After a couple of hours break, registration opened at Surfklubben NASA — this time for some of the world’s top junior slalom windsurfers. Once sign-in was complete, preparations began for the slalom races. The plan: full-speed action in strong wind conditions off Kabelparken in Thisted, with the first start scheduled for 10:00am on Thursday.
The final highlight of the day was the official prize giving for the Wave discipline, where we celebrated outstanding performances with the stunning backdrop of Thy National Park. A massive thank you to all wave competitors and volunteers for making these past days truly unforgettable.
