Become a member

HOW TO ATTEND (Why membership matters)

Under the PWA By-Laws, only members of the Association are entitled to participate and vote in the AGM.

Therefore only members will be sent the invitation link and voting instructions.

BECOME A PWA MEMBER (full individual membership)

The criteria for Full Individual Membership for the 2026 membership cycle is participation as a competitor in an official 4-star or 5-star PWA Tour event within the previous three years (2023–2026).

Deadline for submission of membership applications:
12 May 2026 – 23:59 UTC

Applications submitted after this deadline may not be processed in time for AGM eligibility.

The membership fee is set at 5 Euro.

BECOME A PWA MEMBER (full corporate membership)

Only active members in good standing are entitled to vote and participate in the AGM. Accordingly, as per decision of the Board of Directors, all existing brands must have paid their 2025 fixed fee, and any new brands must have paid their 2026 fixed fee, in order to be eligible to attend and vote at the AGM. 

The deadline for payment in order to be recognised for AGM participation is:
12 May 2026 – 23:59 UTC

CANDIDATES FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Candidates wishing to stand for election to the Board of Directors should submit a short biography and any supporting information no later than 12 May 2026 – 23:59 UTC. Submissions should be sent by email to Piotr Oleksiak at piotr@no-spam-pleaseinternationalwindsurfing.com

The submitted information will be published on the “Members News” page of the PWA website.

WHAT’S NEXT

Following the 12 May deadline, all membership applications and member status will be reviewed against the applicable criteria and eligible members will be approved by the Board of Directors.

Approved members will then receive formal AGM information, including details on attendance, voting procedures and proxy voting arrangements for members unable to attend the meeting in person.
