Mistral Man

Martin Ten Hoeve joins Anders Bringdal's ever growing team of international riders.

With the competition season just weeks away, Mistral snap up the Dutch legend, Martin Ten Hoeve (Mistral), just in time for his assault on the PWA world tour.

Ten Hoeve commented:

"I’m more than happy to announce I will sail on Mistral boards from now on. For me the first sensation of windsurfing all started on a Mistral board back in the beginning, I'm really happy to continue this feeling once again on the Mistral boards. With the warm outgoing character off Anders Bringdal, I feel more than welcome to the Mistral family.

The board look and feel awesome, with great graphics and top designs. The 86 shock feels really alive, it planes really early and has a high top end speed. Once on the wave it’s fast, and has a good bottom and top turn for an onshore Wave board."

Bringdal commented:

"I'm very happy to work with Martin. He's big time out of the normal size... but when sailing, he manages to use this to his advantage, and has some amazing top to bottom connections on the waves with plenty of drive and pop. His Back side 360 is also pretty mean. I will expect big things from him in the upcoming years. Watching him sail is a bit like playing on the Play Station - double click on left and hold in the punch button, and voila, nice air taka....

He will be a great asset  to the team and works really well with Jonas Ceballos (Mistral, Simmer, MFC). It will give Mistral a real edge as the boards will be tested though the extremes and by the riders who truly rip."
